The client is an award winning Huddersfield based palletised distribution specialist. With a strong focus on service and clients throughout the UK. They have recently expanded their services by taking deliveries of palletised goods across Europe.
Challenge
Ageing hardware that had all been purchased at the same time and was starting to cause disruption to the business because of its age.
Solution
KS Services replaced the core business server along with all the office desktop PCs in one installation. We upgraded everyone in the business to Windows 7 and Office 2010. The migration took place over the weekend to cause minimal disruption to the business.
Results
The new equipment has proven to be considerably faster and more efficient. Staff moral and productivity have increased considerably.
